early childhood Educational Director (Full Time)

We are seeking a passionate and progressive-thinking educational leader to strengthen our preschool program. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, collaborative spirit and be a great motivator. The Educational Director is a key member of the administrative team that works together to support the mission and values of Aozora Gakuen. The Early Childhood Educational Director’s role is to inspire, motivate and lead all staff by demonstrating the standard of excellence through their example. The Educational Director is responsible for, and committed to, sustaining a high-quality child care program that emphasizes good partnerships between families and staff. The Educational Director creates an open and honest working environment that inspires professionalism and rewards creative, innovative teaching. – Requirements –

  • Master Degree in early childhood education or related field of study

  • Minimum of three years of successful experience as a group teacher in a program for children under six years of age

  • State Teaching License in Nursery - 6, K - 6, Birth - 2 or Special Education

  • Excellent communication skill in both English and Japanese

  • Computer skill and literacy

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Full-time

  • Knowledge and understanding of bilingual education is preferable

 
 
 

JAPANESE LANGUAGE TEACHEr (Part time)

At Aozora Gakuen, we now offer Japanese language class for adults in the evenings. Many of the students of the language class are the parents of the preschool students. We are very excited to create a positive learning environment for both children and parents.

As we have been growing the adult language program, we have decided to seek another Japanese language teacher who can teach Japanese to adults 1-2 nights per week.

– Requirements –

  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Japanese language teacher

  • Excellent communication skill in both English and Japanese

  • Interpersonal skills

  • Able to work between 6pm and 8pm


 
 
 
 

After School Assistant Teacher (Part time)

We are looking for an after school assistant teacher to supervise and care for children between two and five years old. The assistant teacher will help the lead teacher to establish routines and provide positive guidance for children. She/he will need to implement positive discipline for children when required and provide toilet training for children.

  • Good collaborator

  • Good communication skill in Japanese

  • Interpersonal skills

  • High School Diplomat

  • Able to work between 4pm and 6pm
